How to Remove Grass Stains

Grass stains are one of the most challenging types of stains to remove from fabrics. Follow these steps to remove grass stains from white clothes with Clorox® Bleach or Clorox® Scented Bleach

  1. Rinse
    Rinse to remove loose soil.
  2. Apply
    Fully soak garment for 5 minutes in a solution of 4 tablespoons (60 ml) of Clorox® Disinfecting Bleach2 or Clorox® Scented Bleach for every 2 L of water.
  3. Wash
    Add your pretreated items into the washing machine with your favorite detergent and start your normal wash cycle. Just remember to always check the fabric care label and wash instructions before washing.

For best results wash at 40°C. If in doubt about colorfastness of the garment, apply one drop of a test solution of 1 tablespoon (15 ml) Clorox® Bleach or Clorox® Scented Bleach mixed in 60 ml water on a hidden part of the fabric. Let stand for 1 minute and blot dry. If there is no color change you can safely use Clorox® Bleach or Clorox® Scented Bleach.
